The items pictured below were sent to Sgt Lindsey Bradford (connected to us via www.AdoptAUSSoldier.com) to disburse to the female troops at her base.  Lyn  forwarded some items to friends out in the middle of "nowhere", who could use some much needed items, too!

Lyn is a Journalist with the Army Public Affairs Unit and returned state side In March.

You can read some of Lyn's work on our Links page.  Lyn is also up for several  awards for her work... keep your fingers crossed that she wins!

We sent 20+ mini Christmas stockings filled with goodies (gum, cheese crackers, granola bars, etc.) to Lyn to disburse to her unit, as well as, 40+ Christmas Ziploc baggies filled with the same items to disburse around the base.  Here is her note regarding the Christmas package and Sgt Boros' reaction to her finding out we read her letter (thanks for female products) at our meeting!

"The office scarfed down the goodies in their stockings. I sent 1/2 the additional bagged goodies to my friend Gerry stationed in the middle of no where out here. I took the other half to the palace. They have an "every Soldier" table and people just pick things off that they want. Since they have people working 24 hours a day, things don't last long out there!!!!

Sgt. Boros is actually my roommate. She is a good friend. She has kept me sane this deployment, since this is her second and she knows some things! She is sitting across from me right now and she is giggling that you read everyone the letter! "

Lyn is pictured here, 2nd from the left, with her battle buddies from the New Hampshire National Guard.  The NH NG ladies who are back home now!  Lyn has provided the names and addresses of their replacements so we can continue to support the Female Troops in Iraq.
